Frequently Asked Questions

What are your power requirements? 

Depending on the services that are booked. 
Speaker System: 10 amps 
Mixer/Laptop/Facade/TV: 4.5 amps
Dance Lighting: 2.5 Amps
First Dance on a Cloud: 12.6 amps or 25.2 Dual core
TV Screens: 2.3 each
Secondary Speaker System: 2.5 amps

Always ask your venue about the circuit breaker amperage. So you don't throw breakers during your event.  To prevent power issues, you may decided to include a power generator.

Do you have a gas powered generator?

I have several Industrial gas powered generators available. If you need a generator for your event there is an additional cost. 

Do you charge for set up and tear down?

You are not charged for setup and tear down of equipment. 

What happens if you cannot make the event?

In the event of unforeseen emergency to where I cannot attend, I would do my best to send a replacement DJ, and your event would be significantly discounted. I have not yet missed an event and always plan enough time to ensure I make it at least 2 hours early.

May we come to a wedding you are DJing?

Unfortunately I cannot invite guest to weddings.  

Are there travel costs?

I cover a 30 mile radius from Carson City. Additional milage is .55 per mile per diem.

Do your require a deposit?

After we both sign the DJ Agreement form to ensure your date is held, I require 1/4 of the full dollar amount of the chosen package. This is a non refundable retainer. You're booking both myself and the equipment for your event. The remainder of the Fee is due day of the event. 

Will you have an outline or list of events for the day?

Yes, when you book my services you will receive a Song List/itinerary link to help you plan your event. Also it helps you pick great songs for events like bouquet toss, money dances, cake cutting and so on.  This will be a chronological timeline of songs in order.

Do you make announcements?

I am your Master of Ceremony and I make all of the necessary announcements. I don't stay on the microphone. I want all the attention on you.
